Four cheese plates with alternating scenes creating a modern twist on the iconic china willow pattern
In a nod to the original poem that formed the inspiration for the first willow pattern, Fortnum & Mason commissioned the following poem as the brief for these plates
Two balloons soaring on high, A car full of revellers, roaring by. A field with three cows, chewing the fat. A milk bottle tree, a milkman and his hat. A platter of fromage, with bread and wine. A glorious way to pass the time. An evening do, with light and laughter. A feast for the lunch-time, in the sunshine after.
The plates are 20cm in diameter and are for sale in Fortnum & Mason
