Jimmy Turrell has collaborated with ASOS and Barbour to reimagine the iconic Barbour Bedale jacket
Available exclusively at ASOS, the Barbour Re-loved x ASOS: Jimmy Turrell Edition capsule comprises ten entirely unique jackets, each designed to exist as a wearable piece of art.
The ten unique jackets, originating from Barbour’s Re-loved programme, are centred around the iconic Bedale style, first introduced by Dame Margaret Barbour for equestrian life in 1980, but now a seasonal staple in town and country alike. Inside each jacket, Barbour’s iconic tartan lining provides a distinctive nod to the brand’s heritage and design codes. A longstanding symbol of British craftsmanship, it offers a familiar contrast to the contemporary artistic reworking of each piece. From there, ASOS’s in-house design team has reworked the silhouettes through a modern fashion lens, introducing a play on proportions and details including a cinched jacket and intricate hand embellishment. These reimagined designs form the final canvas for Jimmy Turrell’s hand drawn graphic artwork.
