Faber & Faber commissioned Michael Kirkham to illustrate a collection of Christmas poems by Wendy Cope. The commission also included illustrating the cover and endpapers of the book. The celebrated British poet observes the joyful aspects of the season but also acknowledges the sense of reflective that is often provoked at this time of year.
