‘This is Frank Lloyd Wright’ published by Laurence King
Michael created over 30 artworks for this book, documenting Frank Lloyd Wright’s life and work. Many of the artworks show views of some of his most iconic buildings from above and as cutaways. These are viewpoints that have not been captured in photos and were the result of historical research piecing together both plans and photos, of individual rooms, or aspects of the outsides of the buildings.
The book is the first architectural title in Laurence King’s ‘This is…’ series, which looks at prominent designers throughout history.The book was the winner of the Deutsches Architekturmuseum ‘Architectural Book of the Year’.
